Associate Professor David Oliver is Head of the Discipline of Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. His main research program focuses on organizational identity and its links to strategy and innovation processes in firms. His recent work also addresses how identity and strategy processes can be expanded to include external stakeholders, both in established organisations and emergent ‘sharing economy’ platforms. David has published 18 peer-reviewed journal articles, eight book chapters, one book, and has received 12 research grants.He recent publications have appeared inAcademy of Management Journal,Strategic Management Journal, Strategic Organization, and Academy of Management Discoveries.He is a regular presenter, panellist, mentor, and convenor at international conferences, and sits on the Executive Committee of the “Strategizing Activities and Practices Interest Group” of the international Academy of Management.
